Following a much beloved tradition of making maple products the old fashioned way, Bissonís Sugar House has been providing tasty treats to generations of visitors since its founding in 1921 by Mr. Lazarre Bisson. Many remember the kind-hearted duo of Armand and Juliette Bisson who owned and ran the sugarhouse for many years. Nephew and niece Muriel and Lucien Blais, who continue the sugaring tradition today, welcome all visitors to their quaint 1953 sugarhouse. The Blais family looks forward to serving both new and old friends during both maple sugaring season (which usually occurs between the end of March and the first part of April) and during the off season with a variety of sweet maple treats.
